Chance me for UNC, UIUC, UTex, and UF!

oh okay cool. I'd say my safeties are UCF and NC State really. Honestly I'm pretty confident out of my 12ish schools im applying to ill get into a couple of them. On top of these im applying to Wake Forest, Northeastern, OSU, Penn State, BU on top of the UCF NC State and the ones mentioned.

I’m apply Early Action for UIUC and UNC btw.

I also go to the 28th best high school in the nation according to Newsweek.

UNC: Match
UIUC: Low match
UTA: Low match
UF: Low match

^^^ disagree. assuming out of state for UTA and UNC they’re both reaches. Don’t know enough about the other to give a fair input.

UNC is definitely a reach not to mention the out of state factor. I’m never surprised when people are rejected from UNC. Their admissions office is just such a wildcard for out of state students.

Once again, I’m willing to change my verdict, since OOS is a factor for 3 of them.

UNC: Reach
UTA: Reach
UIUC: High match
UF: Match

Do you have a safety in mind?

Yeah my safeties are NC State and UCF but I’m also going to apply to Wake Forest, OSU, BU, Northeastern, and Penn State. What do you think my chances are at these?

bumpp it up guys anybody?

I’ll complete my chance file.

Wake Forest: High match
OSU: Match (OOS playing against you)
BU: Match
Northeastern: Match
PSU: Match (OOS playing aganst you)

thanks
Do you think i’d have a better shot at umich or nyu?

UMI: High match (OOS playing against you)
NYU: Match/High match

I think your chances are slightly better at NYU since there is no “in-state/out-of-state” business to take care of and everyone is on an equal footing.

Chance me anyone else?

Hoping for some insight on this guys?

I feel like UNC is so unpredictable for OOS. Can’t say. Other than that, I’d say you’d be accepted to Wake, OSU, PSU, NC state, Northeastern, and BU.

oh okay. thanks man! what do you think about UIUC, UF, and Utex?

I’d say you’d get in to UIUC. Don’t know enough about Utex and UF… I’d debate if you should even put the one year of football and the one year of basketball on your app… strong profile, but one year (freshman year) of two JV level sports doesn’t show the commitment that your volleyball does. volleyball profile is impressive!

that’s good to hear.
I’m hoping to get into at the very least UIUC, UTex, PSU, UF, and Northeastern or BU so i have a choice. I honestly don’t know about UNC or Wake Forest especially UNC because of the OOS but i hope my EC’s carry me. anyone else wanna shed some light?

I would say the only schools which would be a reach for you is Wake Forest and UNC. Otherwise, your in at the other schools.

awesome thanks man! how much of a reach do you think Wake Forest and UNC are?

UNC- reach
UIUC- slight reach
UTex- low match
UF- match
You have pretty good credentials but your ACT score is kind of low. I still think you could get into Utex and UF but like what others have said UNC is pretty hard to get into. Good luck with everything!
