Chance me for University of Delaware!

Hello! I'm going to be a senior in high school year and as of right now I have my heart set on the University of Delaware. I would like to major in Medical Diagnostics with a pre-physician assistant concentration. Based on what I've seen online and heard at the information session, I think I have a good chance of getting in. I would just like to get some feedback from any current students on how my application looks. Also, I'm considering applying to the Honors Program. They encouraged it at the information session and told us that we would have nothing to lose, and it would not effect our admission chances. I don't feel as confident in my chances at getting into the Honors Program, but once again, any feedback/advice would be appreciated. Last, I would like to know what their view is on interviews: if they are offered/recommended/considered and how I can prepare myself. Thank you!

Honestly, I think your chances are quite good. As for the interview, in general “they” say that it isn’t necessary or even a good idea unless you are doing it specifically for a scholarship or an exclusive program. So, for Honors, maybe, but again I don’t think it’s necessary. I have a question for you: Where on the common app are you putting the honors societies (Honors or EC’s??) and also HOBY? One counselor said Honors, but others have told me EC.

I’m actually not sure yet, I was going to ask my guidance counselor about that as well. My guess would be honors though.
