<p>Hi there, I'm asking to be chanced for the University of Maryland College Park, by anyone who knows about their admissions process.</p>

<p>I'll be applying for computer science.
My overall GPA ended up pretty low, at a 3.57 unweighted, 4.3 weighted.
My SAT is a 2030, (690 Math, 690 Writing, 650 CR) which was also low... am retaking, expecting a 2200 or so.
My essays were pretty killer, if I do say so my self... I consider them to be my strong point.</p>

<p>As for EC's:
4 years of Wrestling
5 years of submission wrestling
2 years of FIRST Robotics (1 as head of programming)
Work a few hours a week sorting medical records at the local clinic.</p>

<p>I'm in- state, which I hear makes it infinitely easier. Maryland is pretty much my last hope for a top notch CompSci college.</p>

<p>Also, Lebanese- American, Trilingual if that helps. Dean of the CompSci college is a family friend, so he’s given me a lot of info on the college and it seems cool.</p>
