Are you applying to Michigan BBA preferred? Look into it I believe you can apply to it early action. Otherwise your chances are like every other competitive students, your EC’s are possibly lacking a little but (they are common but you have a passion for leadership which is good), the dance is really good, also what were your AP Scores like. They dont effect admission that much but if you qualify for AP Scholar w/ Distinction or w/ Honors thats something you can add to your resume. If you can improve your ACT to 32 range you will be a competitive applicant to the schools you listed but the Ivies are a crapshoot for anyone, NYU is a High Match/Low Reach. Michigan is a HighMatch/RegularMatch. Im not familiar with the other schools. Hope this helps!

Yes! I am planning to apply Early Action to Michigan… as long as my ACT Score is well and I receive it on time.

Also, I am planning to apply to Northwestern, WashU, and UC Berkeley. Just realized I didn’t write these schools in my original post!

Bump!

Where is your home state?
If your uwGPA calculation is correct, 3.77 is below the admission average of 3.85 for UMich. Your ACT is also below the 25% (mid 50 is 30-33 for 2014). For Ross pre-admission, it is even much more competitive and it is definitely a reach for you even if you are in state. For LSA, it would be a reach for oos and a low reach for in state. Good luck to your ACT retake. If you get 30+ for in state or 32+ for oos, you would has a better chance for LSA. It is not likely you can improve your ACT so much to be competitive for Ross pre-admission. If you do get accepted into UMich LSA, you may apply for Ross again in sophomore,

Bumppp!

my son applied to most of these same schools. Also I taught at one of the schools. Based on my experience, here are my thougths. (I also assume that you are out of state at all of the public schools).

Michigan/Ross - reach. Your grades are ok and your ACT is low for OOS. At Ross you do not start until your sophomore year. Most candidates get in to Michigan and apply to Ross during their freshman year. You most likely will not be a direct admit.
NYU/Stern - low reach grades are good enough/ACT is low
Indiana/Kelley - Match
UIUC/UIUC GPPA Medicine - reach unless instate then low reach. Can get into UIUC but not likely for Business or medicine unless you bring your scores up
Penn - high reach Unlikely As of now your credentials are below their bottom 25% of admits
Columbia - high reach- unlikely for same reasons
Northwestern - reach need to raise scores Mid 50% are 31-33 ACT
Wash U - reach same reason
UC Berkeley/Haas Reach as OOS Again scores are too low. At Berkeley you apply to the university and do not apply to Haas until sophmore year. You would start at Haas as a junior
