<p>Hello everyone! I am trying to apply to the University of Michigan. I would like to hear your opinions of my chances of getting into this school. Please and thank you!</p>

<p>I am a Korean, senior, female student.
SAT score:1740
math:650
reading:480
writing:610
However I am taking it again and I have been getting these scores from practice tests.
SAT score:1810
math:670
reading:530
writing:610</p>

<p>GPA:3.62
50/388 top 12% of my class.
I took all IB classes. Also I took 3 years of IB Spanish.
I also took Algebra-Calculus/Mechanics 2 in math from freshmen through senior year.</p>

<p>I worked at a pharmaceutical company as an intern for one summer.
I also worked as a cashier for parents. Total work hours from freshmen to junior year:1320
I did community service for my church and school. Total hours from freshmen to junior: 297</p>

<p>Tennis-4 years varsity, M.V.P., captain, state level participant
Swim-3 years varsity
Choir-1st place in choir competitions for 3 years
Church-2 years as an activities coordinator, singer and pianist for praise team band
Honor society-3 years
Key club-2 years
Asian American Club-1 year
Science Club-1 year
Helping freshmen-Mentor for 2 years</p>

<p>Please be honest. I would love to know my real chances of getting into these schools. Thank you all sooo much!</p>

<p>Sorry, probably not going to happen. SAT is way below the 25th percentile of 1990, a 3.62 is around the 25th percentile, and your ECs are decent but nothing special. Even if you’re IS, you’re reaching.</p>

<p>i think you have to take your sats again in order for you to have a better shot. If you get your SAT up higher you definitely have a chance.</p>
