<p>My counselor kinda listed that my grades slipped sophomore year because I took 3 weeks off to go visit my sick grandpa in India.</p>

<p>Essays were pretty good.</p>

<p>Didn't even apply to engineering or honors cuz I didn't think my GPA was good enough. The lsa mathematics department sent me a letter telling me to apply to honors college because of my amc and aime scores.</p>

<p>Are you applying to CoE?
It would be a very high match for you even for in state due to the GPA. Your ACT is at the 25%. You should have a better chance for LSA.</p>

<p>I’m just applying LSA because I want to get in! umich gives huge importance to GPA and I don’t know if ill make it. I have the whole family situation but I don’t know how far that will take me. I had bad grades, but no C’s during sophomore year, and I had a 4.0 second trimester of junior year. And my schedule was the hardest schedule in the school, most students only take about 6-7 AP’s.</p>
