Chance me for University of Richmond?

I recently decided to apply to University of Richmond due to the amazing financial aid they offer. As well as University of Richmond could someone chance me for Lehigh University and George Washington University Honors College? I applied Early Decision to Lehigh University, but my essays were terrible since they were done in haste

Basically my GPA is 4.0+ weighted, probably 3.7-3.8 unweighted
Ranked top 5% in class (12/486)
Very rigorous schedule, senior Schedule:
AP Calculus
AP Biology
AP Physics
AP English
AP Psychology
Honors Spanish V

And here comes the part that kills me:
SAT 1890 (680 M, 600R, 610W)
SAT II: 680 Chemistry, 670 US History (Can someone help me to decide whether or not to send these scores? They are not good, nor that bad, so I am guessing it will only hurt my application if anything?)
ACT: 30 (35M, 25R, 26W, 33S) (I am hoping for Richmond since they view a person holistically that I have an aptitude for the Math and Sciences, and since my major is biology this will matter more?

Extracurricular:
Kid to Kid 9th Grade-(Drug and Alcohol Awareness Group)
National Junior Honor Society
National Honor Society
Football- (9-10)
District Champions, State Semifinalists
Track-(9-10)
2nd at Districts
Future Business Leaders of America-(3rd at Regionals), (10-12)
Science Olympiad-(11-12/2nd at regionals) Senior Captain
Academic Challenge Team-(2nd at states) Co-captain
Spanish Club-(11-12)
World Quest (11th Grade, 1st at Regionals, Junior Captain)

Volunteer/Service Work:
Volunteering at local hospital

Honors and Awards:
Top ten percent award
High Honor Roll (9-12)

I need money since my parents are unable to afford anything really, with having to put six kids through college, I believe the EFC is around 1.5 grand
I am of minority status if that helps

Results:
So far I have been accepted to University of Pittsburgh, Michigan State University Ursinus College, George Mason University, Temple University, and Duquesne University.

Duquense and Temple were the only ones to offer scholarships, being $12,000 and $2,500 respectively, each not making the college affordable
I also got deferred at Tulane

I sent my new ACT score out to every school, but will this allow me to get into honors colleges and receive scholarships? Its an overall increase of two points, and three if superscored? I am really relying on Lehigh to accept me and then somehow provide an amazing financial aid package?

Main reason I posted this board, was I saw someone who had a 29 ACT, which is near the 75% for ACT scores for Richmond, but was chanced as a reach school? Why is this?

Bump, will chance back

Unfortunately, i am not familiar with any of the colleges up there…
But your GPA seems decent(assuming the colleges are not very competitive) and your SAT is okay. Although it is definitely not high enough for competitive schools.

Good luck!

I guess I should make a note I am not sending my SAT score to any schools, I do not know as to why I bother putting it up there, my ACT I think is the better score and thus the one I am sending

Aside from chances altogether, applying to Lehigh ED seems like a mistake. You entered a binding agreement. They could give you very little money in aid or grants, and you could be in a very tough spot.

Thing is from what I have seen from what kind of financial packages Lehigh has offered already to Early Decision, being international too, the Financial Aid package was amazing. Also I think if I do not apply Early Decision, I would not get in. Thus, I applied under such a a plan as a gamble, in hopes I get accepted with a decent Financial Aid package. If the Financial Aid package does turn out to be terrible, I will have to deny it unfortunately, and look at my other schools, and go from there

Yeah, its a good idea to just send your ACT scores since your SAT scores, as you know, aren’t particularly great. And if it isn’t necessary to send them, don’t.

Also, I would send the SAT subject test scores. I doubt it will hurt you. They aren’t that bad. Your ECs are pretty decent. But like you said to me, show more of a passion (show it in the essays at least). I think you have a decent shot at University of Richmond. Good luck.

You have a good chance. Youre Ecs are pretty good. Chance back plss

Good stats for the schools you’re applying to.

Lehigh - high match
Richmond - match
GWU - match, not sure about honors college

Good luck!

Thanks for the comments guys, much appreciated any other opinions?

Hey
I’m an international student and applied regular decision. When do you think I will get a reply from Richmond?
Thanks

well your GPA and your ACT score are good… so are your EC’s… if you have some good essays then you should be able to get in keeping in mind that although Richmond is a good university its not ‘that’ competitive so you shouldn’t have any problem getting in … I don’t know much about their financial aid stuff so cant comment on that but you shouldn’t expect much scholarship from them

Chance back
