bump.bump.bump.bump

USC received 35,753 applications for only 2,869 freshman spots last year. This means you will need to stand out in some way in order to get a positive decision. Admissions are not just numbers driven so you should always apply to your dream schools but unfortunately I see very little on your stats that would stand out and therefore I would rate USC as a high-Reach for you.

Your EC’s are underdeveloped (a few volunteering hours as well as NHS basically)
your grades are o.k., class rank o.k. (top 10% would be better)
your AP’s are o.k.
your test scores are well below average (25% to 75% stats are 1910 to 2200) - which means probably 90-100% of the applicants accepted have higher SAT scores than your 1830.

Essays can play a decisive role in admissions so if you can not raise any of your other stats then make sure your essays are incredibly impressive. Good luck and always reach for your dream schools!

Okay, thanks for the help!! :)

I would say USC is a bit of a reach for you. Sorry. Good luck.
