You likely have the stats to get into UT. If you’re out of state, that could be a different story. The engineering department is a whole different beast to tackle. You could get in to the engineering school as an incoming freshman, but it’s not guaranteed. If not, it’s almost impossible to get in from the outside unless you have a 3.9 GPA.
