I think that you have a decent chance of UofM. Obviously the legacy with your dad will help you and colleges tend not to look at freshman year too much, they like to see an upward trend. Your pretty much in at the rest but if i were you I would work on the extracurricular side of your application, especially in sports!

Do you think being instate will help cover for my sub-par gpa? That’s the thing that’s worrying me the most right now

UofM-If you want to go for Ross, it might be like a high math/low reach but if not you are in for sure
Purdue-in
CMU-match
Georgia Tech-low match
UIUC- low match

Thanks for the reply! Right now I’m targeting the College of Engineering

[bump]
anyone elsee?

bummmmmmmmmmmmpppp
c’mon guys :)

You are just about average for a CoE admit, so I would say you have a pretty good shot at Michigan. While your GPA is a bit lower than average, it will probably be overlooked because of legacy, in-state status and your large number of AP’s.

I can’t speak much for the other universities you listed, but they are all somewhat comparable to Michigan so I would assume you have a good shot there as well.

Good Luck!

Thanks!
any other engineering programs you guys think i should apply to? like any matches that stand out to you?

anyone else guys?!?!

bummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmppppppppppppp

I actually think you have a really good chance at Michigan. Your SAT is really good and your GPA isn’t that bad. You also have really good ECs. I would be surprised if you didn’t get it!
