Gender: Female
Ethnicity: Asian American (Chinese)
Background: Upper middle class, both parents graduated college.

As you can see I am very passionate about the research I am doing outside of school. I hope UPenn can see this as they really encourage their undergrads to pursue research.

I'm worried that my GPA is a little low for Penn and that I do not have many leadership roles.
Please give me an honest chance me, I would really appreciate it!

If you don't mind I would also appreciate it if you chanced me for UChicago, Duke, Johns Hopkins, Rice, UC Berkley and Cornell.

My cousin had a high gpa but I believe a 2270 sat and got accepted. I think you have a shot and is there a way that in ome of your volunteering services, did you happen to lead anything like tell people what to do?

Anyone else? :)

How is a GPA out of 7?

Your GPA’s not that low. It isn’t amazing, but since you’re in the top 5% of your class schools will overlook how “low” it is.

Your SAT Is stellar, and your GPA may be a bit low (however you are top 5% in your class), but your science/medical EC’s could easily offset this. Just emphasize your passions in your essay and you will have a good chance at PENN. Also, I think JHU and Cornell are your next best bet for undergrad med. Chicago is geared toward business, and that doesn’t sound like your main interest. I don’t think duke or rice are geared toward medicine either. Chance me please…
