Chance me for UPenn ED?

SAT II: 800 Bio M, 770 U.S. History, 730 Math I (hoping to take Math II and score close to an 800)
AP Classes: Bio (5), USH (5), US Gov (5), Calc AB (5), English Lang (4)</p>

<p>Extracurricular: Varsity golf (6 yrs), Yearbook Staff, Multicultural Club, Student Council, Math Team (4 yrs)
Worked on a clinical research study funded by the American Heart Association, name is on the project and will get published this year.
Tutored some kids in Bio and Math this summer
Shadowed a surgeon for a week, cardiologist another week.</p>

<p>Senior year course load: 5 APs (Calc BC, Physics, Stats, English Lit, Psychology)</p>

<p>Awards: Several class awards (Calc, Precal, Geometry, USH, Bio, 9th grade english), Harvard Book Award, RPI Medal, AP scholar w/ Distinction</p>

<p>^get out of here kid, if he writes a great essay he definitely has a chance to get in. It definitely is a reach but you can make it happen if you want to badly enough.</p>

<p>^ @ JMaloney: Wait. Why is it definitely a reach? What is he lacking? (Or are you just assuming everyone’s a reach?) He seems to have great stats / average UPenn ED applicant stats to me.</p>

<p>@woahgosh : Yes, I am somewhat assuming that everyone is at least a low reach, but the fact that he is an Asian male certainly does not help his chances. I have seen countless chances on here from people with credentials as good as these, I believe it comes down to essays and interviews (if given).</p>
