<p>Sorry, I know how annoying these are...but I am genuinely curious if people think I have any shot at all. I applied ED to Columbia (it was a toss up between UPenn and Columbia) and was deferred if that helps.</p>

<p>SAT I: CR770, W770, M680 - 2220.
SAT II: Lit-750, US History-740</p>

<p>GPA: 4.0, unweighted</p>

<p>APs: AP Euro (4), US (5), Lang (5), Lit, Macroecon, Calc, Pol&Gov</p>

<p>ECs/Jobs: Orchestra (President & Concertmaster) - through orchestra I am organizing MISC (Musicians In Support against Cancer) Benefit Concert (running auditions, dress rehearsals, performing in it, doing flyers, contacting local newspapers, etc), Chamber Orchestra (helped found it junior year - after-school), Tutor @ Kumon Learning Center, Volunteer @ Neighborhood House Summer Program & Tutoring Center (during the school year), Model (local fashion shows, catalog, etc), then some more meaningless things: Calc Club, Link Crew, and Competitive Speaking (9th & 10th grade)</p>

<p>Honors: Eh, mostly insignificant. AP Scholar, Honor Society, Girls State Delegate, etc</p>

<p>Hook: None, really. I'm a half-asian, half-white female...but that doesn't mean much.</p>

<p>Fin Aid: Applying</p>

<p>Essays: Personal statement is strong, haven't wrote supplement essay yet</p>

<p>^I’m assuming this is sarcastic? To me a hook means legacy, athlete, or URM status. I am none of the above. I doubt only legacies, athletes, and urms get into UPenn. </p>
