Teacher Recommendations: Getting them from AP Calc Teacher, and Latin Teacher. AP Calc teacher likes me and I really enjoyed the class and I would always ask questions and talked to her outside of school a bunch. Latin Teacher I have had for going on four years and he knows me really well. I’ve talked to him about my career goals and everything and he is chill and funny and he went to Cornell too. Will probably have great recommendations.
Counselor Rec: Knows me pretty well, will be pretty good. 9/10

Essay: Planning on working my ass off on the essay and tying in my strength in volunteering and talking about what I can do for people around the world through business. Also talking about calculus and how some of the topics I learned in that class are really exciting for me and taught me how to think about business and everything in a really different way.

Strengths: Volunteering?? , rigor of schedule??? (lots of APs and Honors Classes), essays might be different (and good enough hopefully) and I am going to tie in the impact of my volunteering and what i plan to do in future

Where else are you applying (feel free to chance me for these if you so choose, but you don’t need to): UMD-CP, Virginia, Dartmouth, Indiana, Babson, Boston College

Please chance me for both ED and RD and tell me if there is a considerable difference in my chances! Any help, advice, and ideas are sincerely appreciated!

Your stats aren’t bad! I feel like your GPA is a bit low for Wharton, and I agree that maybe retaking your ACT would be a good idea. It would also help if you raised your SAT to the 1500s, and I think your ECs are about average. Your chances will improve by a lot of if you apply ED. Good luck and hopefully everything goes well for you!

If you are able to raise the ACT to 34/45 to make up for the slightly low GPA I think you have a good shot. Good Math II score and your essay sounds like it is going to be really good, especially the ties to business for Wharton. Penn is the hardest one to get in for all of the schools you are applying to, so you will have a good shot at the rest as well.

Don’t take chance me threads too seriously because if its one applicant chancing another applicant it is not likely to help you. For example you are not sure about your own chances of getting in so how would you know if someone else has the qualifications to get in? (chance me and I’ll chance you back)

I don’t think you retaking the standardized tests over again is really going to make much difference.
Focus on doing well senior year and use your essays to show your passion for business by mentioning business related activities you were involved in since you are applying to Wharton.

Most applicants will have a rigorous schedule, good test scores and grades, and community service.
Your application should reflect what makes you stand out and what value you bring to the college.
Every college is looking to come up with a diverse class which includes students that have a variety of different experiences.

All the colleges you mentioned are quite competitive and get more applications then they can accept. Add some match schools to your list. You shouldn’t apply to only reach schools.
