Your chances at Wharton are slim. Usually Wharton kids are valedictorians with near perfect scores. Although, your ECs may be the push you need.
The other two are basically in the bag.
Chance back?

UPenn: Low reach
NYU: Low reach
UC Berkeley: Match

Remember that NYU (Stern) has become increasingly competitive over the years, other people may be missing out on.

Decent ECs, but I’ll be honest, all those “Leadership camps” are a bunch… how shall I put it… baloney? From what I have heard from past college admissions counselors.

(Fun fact, my brother goes to Wharton :slight_smile: )

@Sanj114,

are you SURE you played in Varsity Tennis for a full TWO years?

@CoachPatRyan

I just put that down because I thought I might do tennis my junior year. Half of the stuff on here I made up just to get an idea.

Sorry for the confusion

UPenn: Reach
NYU: High Match
Berkeley: High Match

@JoMcDo could u post some of your brother’s stats and ec’s if thats possible?

thanks

Okay, NYU is definitely a match. With a 2280 and 94 gpa you are golden. Berkley too. Wharton? Well, that’s just another story.

Wharton - Reach
Stern - High Match
Haas - Should get into Berkeley, you have to apply for Haas after your freshman year

Have you considered looking at Ross or McCombs?

Wharton-reach
Stern/UCB-Low reach/match

Good luck!

@Sanj114

My Wharton '16 Brother’s stats…

SAT: 2340 (800M, 770CR, 770W)

Math 2 Subj: 800
Bio Subj: 760

UW GPA: 3.86
W GPA: 4.6

AP Scores: I’m not too sure what he got, he took like 12 APs though!
ECs: A ton… but he said what most stood out was his Varsity letters in like golf. He played for all 4 years of high school ( a big plus)
