Here’s the deal, it doesn’t matter how many ecs or how god your scores are for an ivy. Most people applying will have 4.0s and 1500+s. If you make it into the pool of applicants that they are actually evaluating instead of just tossing, which could happen, but I would not be sure of, they will look for someone who has done something. Have you changed something? Started a business? What makes you different? There are hundreds of people who have stats and ecs like yours. What makes you stand out? Also, much of your admission is going to be your essay, so that better be amazing, considering your scores. There’s really no way of telling though. Apply, but don’t expect anything. You’re an amazing student, but I’m not seeing anything that sets you apart. There’s no wow factor, and that’s what gets you into ivies.

I don’t necessarily disagree with you and wharton is obviously my reach school…more realistically what do you think about chances for UC berkeley or Northwestern??? I feel like those are pretty baseline but still looking for other peoples opinions, my safety is UT austin

hi,
In my opinion just try increasing your sat or act score and you will have a decent chance at wharton and a really good chance of being accepted at UC berkeley and/or Northwestern

Not so fast. UCB is just as competitive. You have to get into UCB first, then reapply to Haas when only 40% of the class gets in. I think you have a shot at Wharton, but you are going to have to think hard about what makes you awesome and unique and communicate that effectively. I don’t see anything that makes you outstanding to date.

Just on a side note, northwestern does not offer business

Northwestern does not offer business as a major, but most students major in econ and minor in business

Wharton will frown upon that 2 on AP Calc, but your DECA will help you.
