LAST QUESTIONS:

Since NYU has the flexible policy, should I submit my SAT scores, Subject Tests, or IB Diploma? My subject tests scores were already sent through collegeboard, as they were automatically send :((.

Since my subject test scores were already sent to NYU, should I submit my SAT and/or my IB diploma? I was told to send in as much as I think will benefit me...

And finally, do you think I will recieve much financial aid? Family income is between 150k and 200k/year.

Thanks!

USC SAT Scores: 1910 - 2220
USC ACT Scores: 29 - 33
USC Average GPA: 3.68 - 3.96

NYU SAT Scores: 1890 - 2180
NYU ACT Scores: 28 - 31
NYU Average GPA: 3.68 - 3.89

Lets assess the data. Your GPA seems to fall in the normal range of accepted students so that’s a plus. Your SAT is right on the mark for NYU, but 20 points less than USC. But this chart does not take your excellent list of extracurriculars into account so I wouldn’t worry about 20 messily points. All in all your chances seem to be pretty good for both of these schools. Like NYU said, send as much as you would deem to be helpful. I see no harm in sending them your SATs. As for financial aid it does depend on family income. My mother and father are divorced so she put herself down as a single parent and we were able to get $40,000 in scholarships. If you haven’t done it already, for the love of god send them your applications so they can see how great you are!
I just got accepted to NYU so I hope to see you in the fall.

Congrats on getting into NYU, and Thank you so much! That really helped aha, i was so anxious before it was crazy… What program did you go into? And dear god stern is expensive lmao. :frowning:

I got into Steinhardt’s communications and media program

Bump. Already submitted my applications, was just looking for a second opinion on this! Thanks!

Best of luck to you. Let me know if you got in
