I have a low GPA because I really screwed up my sophomore year just being lazy. I didn't actually start caring about school until my junior year. I went from a 2.83 sophomore year to a 3.83 junior year. I've taken 6 AP classes (euro, calc ab, calc bc, bio, chem, apush) and all my other classes were honors, so I've had a pretty rigorous schedule.

GPA: 3.45 UW (my school doesn't do W grades but if it were it would be 3.9)
Also, I took a science class at CC and got an A, but that doesn't go in my GPA for high school
SAT: 620 CR, 740 M, 700 W
SAT II: 710 Chem, 740 Math, 680 U.S. History, 670 Bio M (I'm probably not reporting the scores under 700.. unless I should?)
ACT: 30

300+ hours of medical volunteering

ACS officer (1 yr)
performing arts (violin)

I think that the GPA might hurt you a bit. But you showed and increased trend so i think you should emphasize in your essay how you changed your motivation for caring more about school. You have the bare extracurriculars that make you stand out as an average applicant. Send all your subject test scores. Even the 600’s since they were in the high ends and although you don’t need to take the subject tests, it’ll impress the ad coms a bit more than the many who didnt take them anyways. Not much you can do now but really focus on your essay and maybe improve your sat’s/act’s for the last time! Good luck, I think you can get into several of these colleges!
