<p>Hi! I wrote on this thread a couple months ago, but now I'm considering applying to a totally different major, so your input is wanted:) Chance me for a Communications major at USC Annenberg</p>

<p>Senior
White female
Florida
Competitive magnet school </p>

<p>3.9 UW/4.8W</p>

<p>Ranking: Top 10% </p>

<p>I take the most rigorous curriculum offered. </p>

<p>Extracurriculars:
*Managing Editor for School Newsmagazine
*President of Debate Team
*Religious Education Teacher
*Writer/Editor for School Radio
*Many honor societies (English VP & Board for Quill&Scroll)
*Around 100 community service hours</p>

<p>Essays: Really good :) Writing is one of my strengths
Teacher Recs: Core teachers were okay, but I had two electives teachers who have gotten to know me well over 4 years and those ones (I submitted them as add'l ones) were amazing
Counselor Rec: Ehhh....okay</p>

<p>SAT Superscore: 2200
Math-730 CR-710 Writing-760</p>

<p>SAT IIs:
-Literature 730
-US History 750</p>

<p>Good about App: Extracurriculars (I am very involved with my school), Elective Teacher Recs, GPA, SAT
Bad about App: Slacked off freshman year, a couple of 3s on AP Exams, normal teacher recs & counselor rec is average</p>
