Chance me for USC? Anxiety is rising in me!

Hey soo I would just like others to chance me. I know miracles happen for USC admits and I'm hoping that I am one of them

SAT: 1600

Recommendations: Pretty good- I got it from my principal
School Type: Public and 99% Black students... One of the Best in the City, was mentioned in Obama's speech in like 2008 or 09
Race: African American
State: NY
- I'm my family's first college student
Income- I qualify for the full pell grant

EC's/ Activities:

** I forgot to put 4 ECs in my application also there was a situation my junior year that didn't allow me to take certain classes... Do you think that there's a way that I can call them an ask them to enter that information?

USC should be a match. Being a URM would help greatly.

Do you know what your GPA translates to on a 4.0 scale?
Your test scores are on the low side… Is your SAT score out of 2400? If so, then USC is a reach for you.
What are you looking to major in?

You could either call or email your admissions counselor and ask them to update your file.

On a 4.0 scale it’s a 3.3 but there are things that prevented me from higher achievements that I have to tell the school… Forgot to put it in my application
And my SaTs are out of 2400. I’m applying to Marshall for Business Administration

Thank you Bubbles for sale. I appreciate it!

USC is far more likely to admit a person with a low GPA and SAT score than the UCs.

I think if you truly can present a compelling case- and I think all signs look good- USC should be a match.

http://www.usc.edu/admission/undergraduate/private/1213/USCFreshmanProfile2012.pdf

With a 3.3 UW GPA and a 1600 out of 2400 SAT USC will be a reach. Your URM status will help but remember that USC is one of the most diverse campuses around, as a result being a URM may not be the boost it would be other places.

You have a chance but you need to be realistic.

Okay, I’ll still have hope! But I appreciate all of your responses… And ok LachicaBuena, I think I’ll give them a call tomorrow and see if I can get help.
