<p>I'm currently a junior in high school, planning on majoring in finance. I was wondering if I have a realistic chance at getting into USCs business school. Here are my stats
3.7 GPA, 3.85 average gpa for year 10/11
32 ACT
Class rank 22/112
Average classes like precalc and chemistry, taking ap Econ, stats, and lit senior year along with advanced accounting, physics, and Spanish 3

<p>There’s no such thing as an undergraduate finance major per se; you’d be applying for the B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in finance if anything.</p>
<p>That being said, statistically you look like you would have a shot, but because USC’s admissions process is so holistic we wouldn’t know because your essays and letters of recommendation play a big part in the admission decision-making process.</p>
<p>There’s not a defined concentration area for finance either, there was till just a few years ago (you selected it from a choice of concentrations within Business). Now, by concentration it means you have a BSBA and you just say you took finance courses, but there is no defined finance pathway or any notation that you focused in finance as an undergrad. My S wanted to do that and it disappeared around the time he started at USC. I found that odd, because it became more of a generic BSBA, rather than one offering an official emphasis/specialization area.</p>
