i'm new to this site so hopefully i'm doing this right!
i'm a junior at a competitive high school, davis senior high (i'm not sure if you've heard of it) and i was just wondering what my chances are at getting into USC. i don't have most of my test scores and whatnot but just try your best?

so my college weighted gpa is currently a 3.7. i hope to bring raise it by keeping my gpa at a 4.333 like i had last semester. the reason my gpa isn't as high as i want it to be is because i had a D in AP chemistry semester 1 of my sophomore year. i dropped it and took it over the summer and got an A though.
i got a 1980 on my first SAT but i'm planning on retaking it in march.
i recently took the literature sat subject test but i haven't gotten my score back yet.
i'm treasurer of the ocean conservation club, vice president of freedom from hunger club (will be president next year) and i'm in peer helping club (which you have to get interviewed to get in).
my schedule this year consists of spanish 5 AP, AP biology, Honors english, pre-calculus, race and social justice, and AP art history
i took orchestra for 6 years (4th - 9th)
i've won a silver award for english in 9th grade and the president's award too.
i'm in CSF (which is like honor roll)
i volunteer weekly at the library and at a local hospital and have been doing so for more than a year. i also occasionally volunteer at spca adoptions
i got accepted to a 2 week summer program as usc if that's relevant

i'm also asian (chinese) and i will probably be applying for financial aid

thank you so much! :)

Depending on your test scores I would say you have a decent shot of getting in! However, I wouldn’t expect any scholarship offers. Good luck!

thanks! i hope i get in! :)

Hi I’m also really nervous about hearing from USC. I have a 3.87 GPA and an 1860 SAT, which I know are low. I know three languages and will have seven foreign language credits by the time i graduate. I played varsity soccer for two years, jv basketball for two years, varsity softball for two years, and varsity swimming for a year. I also participated in the California Junior Lifeguard Regional Championships. I was a peer tutor and I attended a Spanish immersion program in Spain. I also worked two summers at a center that serves people with disabilities. Last year I moved back to the US after spending my whole life overseas, which might make me more diverse IDK. I’ve taken AP German, Chemistry, US History, US Government, Comparative Government, English 11, English 12 and AP Calc AB. I’m so worried about hearing from them. Less than a week OMG!!!
