Chance me for USC?

Hi!
USC is my dream school and I would really like to hear from some of you what you think my chances are of getting in. Thanks!

(This is all at the end of my junior year. I don’t know if they count grades for senior year, could someone let me know please?)

GPA: (mix of A’s & B’s fresh/soph year with one AP, all A’s/A+'s junior year with 2 APs)
4.35 weighted
3.54 unweighted

ACT: 33 (taking one more time hoping for a 34-35)

Extracurriculars:
Summer children’s hospital internship
Animal shelter volunteer
Started a charity club with the kids in the hospital & run events with the therapy animals
Long term nannying job (good relationship with that family) and working in a preschool since freshman year (kids are my passion)
Peer minister in church and run mission trips and events
Clubs: National Honors Society, 2 leadership positions (for freshman PE & guidance), Special Needs Athletics, Interact (a charity club), and medical science club (interested in pediatrics). I also used to play sports but haven’t since freshman/sophomore year.

I have great relationships with teachers and wonderful nurses at the hospital where I work with the kids so am hoping on some good recommendation letters. With a good essay, do you think I can get in? I am worried about my unweighted GPA holding me back.

Also, how is their financial aid and scholarships for someone with my background? I am out of state (midwest) and know UCLA or any other UC school would probably be just as expensive as USC for me because I’m OOS.

It’s definitely possible but probably still a reach. Write really good essays. Best of luck.

Fall semester of your senior year will count. You have an upward trend which is positive. Your ACT score is good, Unweighted GPA is a little low compared to the average unweighted of 3.7+ to 3.8+ for admitted high school students. USC reviews an application holistically. You should apply for financial aid anyway, which won’t impact their decision.
