Unusual circumstance:*
* * * * I come from a poor family in China. My family was politically prosecuted by the communist government because of me being the second kid of my family ( you know the one kid policy ) My mom told me that she almost got an abortion under the pressure. When I was born, the government constantly threatened to burn down my house and arrest my dad if we don't pay a massive fine ( look it up if you want to know how much it can be).
* * * * In order to survive, my dad left China when I was 5. Since then, my mom had to work overtime to support this broken family and take care of my sister and me. Two years ago, we moved to U.S. and got together with my dad.
* * * * I literallydidn't speak any English when I was new here. *I attend a school full of Mexican and I am the only Asian kid here and none of my family member could speak English, so you can imagine how hard it is for me to learn a new language. And my parents usually come back home from work at 10 pm, so I have to take care of myself and do the chores for them.

Please chance me for UT Austin and Texas A&M. Thank you so much!
