Hi everyone, here are my stats.

Sex: Female
Race: Mixed Indian/Dutch
Intended Major: Electrical Engineering
GPA: 3.9/4.0
Class Rank: top 10%, they don't tell us the actual number till graduation but I'm pretty sure I'll be 1, 2 or 3.
SAT: 2150/2400 1480/1600 R-740 M-740 W-670

Now here's where it gets tricky.
I'm from Boston, MA. This severely cuts my chances at UT Austin and UC Berkeley.
I also go to a vocational school, where my major is Engineering/Robotics. I've done some pretty cool projects I can write about for this, competed a bit, and pretty much know that electrical engineering is my thing.

My classes situation is a little weird as well. My school offers two AP classes, only to seniors, and they are AP Calc and AP English. I won't be taking AP Calc though, since I'll be taking college level calc at CMU this summer. My class history is as follows:

Freshman Year:
Honors Algebra 2
French 2
Honors English
Honors Chem I (since its a voc school we cut sciences in half)
Honors History

Sophomore Year:
Honors Geometry
French 3
Honors Composition/Literature (required to take 2 a year, voc schools are weird)
Honors Chem 2
Honors History 2
Pre-Calculus (Summer)

Junior Year:
Honors Composition/Literature
Honors Physics I
Honors History 3
Calculus (non AP, Online/independent study)
AP Statistics (Online/independent study)
Calculus I (CMU College Level)
Chemistry I (CMU College Level)

Predicted Senior Year::
Honors Dramatic Literature
AP English
Honors History 4
Honors Physics II
Calculus II (Dual enrollment @ Umass Lowell or Harvard extension)
Differential Equations or Calc III for the spring semester

I'll have been doing engineering/robotics all four years. Because my major allows us to receive college credit from Rochester Institute of Technology if we do well, I have a 4.0 GPA at RIT and have received credit for Introduction to Engineering Design, Digital Electronics, and Principles of Engineering.

Extracurriculars:
Math Team Captain
Longy School of Music A Capella/Solo Vocal Performance
Drama Club Actor and Sound/Lighting
Circus Arts: both Fire Performance and Aerial Acrobatics
I started my schools first ever a capella group, I'm in that.
School Chorus
I will be doing a choir at New England Conservatory next year
MMEA Senior Northeast district choir 2013
MMEA All State Choir 2013 (this is super competitive)

I'll be able to get fantastic recommendations, and my essays will likely be good. I know my essays will definitely be unique, I can say that much. I know my stats aren't exceptional, but UC Berkeley is my dream school and UT Austin is dream school number 2. I'll probably also be submitting art supplements for vocal performance and/or dance, as I'm a pretty good classical singer and I'm pretty good at fire dance. Chance me!
