Here’s my stats and other stuff.

• Attends 6A high school

• Intended major of Mechanical Engineering

• Hispanic Male

• Low income ( 20,000k-39,000k )

• First Generation

• Class rank of 19/495 or top 3.8%

• 99.759/100 weighted GPA & 95.6 unweighted GPA

• Test optional

• 10 AP courses, 5 being for senior year currently ( AP Chem, AP physics 2, AP English 4, AP Stats, AP Econ & Gov ), Took BC Calc as a junior

• 9 college credit hours, 6 from dual-credit & 3 from UT’s onramps algebra class

• Extra-curriculars include being team captain of my schools UIL academic team ( Math, Science, Calculator & number sense ), SkillsUSA CNC, Team captain of the calculus bowl team, Astronomy club, STEM club and Church youth group

• Work experience includes working during junior year at JCPenney at about 20 hrs per week ( no longer employed there) and working since March at a Deli at 25 hrs per week

• Essays were pretty good in my opinion, supplements were 8.5/10 & Topic A essay was 8/10

• Awards include only just UIl awards going up to regional level, School awards for excellence in various classes, SkillsUSA district winner ( never got to go to state cuz Corona )

• Only 1 letter of recommendation but I thought it was good because it came from my Onramps teacher

Your chances are good. It would be even better if you have your SAT/ACT score. You’re an auto-admit, but if course, getting into the Engineering school is far from guaranteed. Texas A&M is also an option.
