<p>That ACT score is VERY strong, good job! Just by looking at your stats I see that you are a very strong candidate for UT Austin.</p>

<p>I also like that you were a Captain on the tennis team and you seem to have other leadership qualities (by looking at your ECs).</p>

<p>You are in the top 10% of your class so you are in to the school. I don’t know about the engineering school but you have great stats so you should have no trouble getting in.</p>

<p>I thought that UT Austin was top 7% for auto-admit (TAMU, on the other hand, is top 10%)</p>

<p>Ah yeah I looked at their website and for the fall 2013 they are automatically taking the top 8%. I’m glad they changed that so others have a better chance of getting in.</p>

<p>I still think you have a really good shot though.</p>

<p>Do you know if after I submit my application and then enter into top 8%, if I’ll be auto admit?</p>
