Maybe Vanderbilt, retake sat, get a 2200 or higher and your in Vanderbilt .

It doesn’t look great for Duke and Vanderbilt. Your SAT is bad and your ACT might get you in, but it is kind of in the middle of the pack.

That’s what I figured. They’re both reaches anyway. Thanks!

bump

Its impossible to say without gpa

UT (are you in-state and are you referring to UT Austin?) If so: high match/low reach
Vanderbilt: reach
Hopkins : reach
Duke ED (Quite unlikely, but if you’re deferred to RD and if you achieve a major improvement in test scores): reach/high reach

Overall, you really should attempt to improve your standardized test results substantially.

@ivyleaguehopes‌ fenomenal? really?

How substantial would my increase in test scores be?

In my opinion, at least a 100 to 200 point improvement in aggregate SAT composite score. The following URL will provide detailed data re last years’ (Class of 2018) standardized test results (and it’s reasonable to assume this year’s will be marginally higher): http://admissions.duke.edu/images/uploads/process/DukeClass2017Profile.pdf
