Chance me for UT OOS. Will chance back

Being OSS, your application needs to be near Ivy League caliber, especially if you want to do finance at McCombs (only 220 OSS admits in 2009). Your SAT I scores are good and hopefully you have high grades in AP classes. Make sure your essays are articulate and unique and you’ll stand a chance (the topics are already available).

Remember, 75% of all admissions at UT are reserved for Top 8% TX applicants. The remaining 25% are reserved for non-Top 8%, non-ranking, OSS, and foreigners. The process admits those remaining applicants in a competitive process which gives each person a score based on rank, essays, honors/awards, leadership activities, community service, test scores, and special circumstances. Also, there is no ED at UT, but applying early always helps.

Overall it is tough to make it into UT OSS, but you do have chance. Good Luck!..
