Intended Major: Business

I plan on applying early decision to UVA and have interviewed at both schools.

Very Good Chance of being accepted. I assume you have 2 subject SAT test scores though? UVA highly recommends that you submit 2.

Yes I do, forgot to add that on in the main post sorry.

SAT Subjects

Math II: 670
Literature: 750

Literature is a very good score, especially since its a very hard subject test, but you could/should raise your Math 2 score. The avg score is a 690, so I think you should push for above a 700 or ideally above a 750.

What’s your class rank?
How hard was your curriculum vs. what was available to you?

My school doesn’t rank but I can reasonably assume at least top 25% percent. Probably top 10%.

My school is primarily an IB school so I went for a full IB diploma and will have taken two years of full IB course loads during my junior and senior years. I took two AP classes during my freshman and sophomore years, with the rest of my core subjects being honors classes.

Rule of thumb: if you’re in the top 10% of your in-state HS class, and the rest of your application (test scores, ECs, etc.) are within the normal ranges, you’ll probably be fine. Unless you have some detraction you haven’t mentioned such as disciplinary or legal troubles, I think you are likely to get admission offers at both.

Without taking into account ED:

UVa: 46%
W&M: 50%
