Chance me for UVA please

Hey guys!

As the title says, please chance me for UVA. Also I have a question: could I perhaps stand a chance in Ivy League/MIT admissions?

[Schools I'm applying to are UVA and perhaps an Ivy league] I applied to GMU for early action and should be receiving my results very soon.

STATS:

I'm an Asian female living in Virginia.

GPA: 3.7 uw 4.3 w
AP Classes: World History, Music Theory, US History, Language, BC Calc, Chem, Physics B [5 all on exams]
SAT: 2300
SAT Subject: Math 2 (800) Chem (740)

EXTRACURRICULARS:

-Co-created 501-C3 Organization dedicated towards promoting music within community and raising money to buy instruments for kids, VP, won some awards
-Science Olympiad 3 years: won some awards, president
-Science and Math Honor Society
-Robotics 3 years VP
-Copy editor for Newspaper
-Teacher assistant for Summer Vietnamese School [4 years]
-Piano for 13 years, Guitar for 5: won music awards every year [I tutor kids in music theory once a week but it's very casual and not really affiliated with any group]
-300> community service hours

I'm got a rec from the president of the Summer Viet School, my Calc teacher, and the counselor. I haven't read the letter from the Viet president but I'm sure it was fine, my calc teacher's was very spot-on, and my counselor's was okay [generic and very vague but well-meaning].

Thank you for your feedback!

GMU EA: Safety
UVA: Match
Cornell: Reach (high match if you want to go do engineering)

UVA = match, GMU = safety, and you would be a competitive candidate at MIT and Ivies (especially if you pursue engineering as most of these schools have newer programs in this field and do not get the top eng’g candidates). My guesses eng’g = Columbia, Cornell, Brown = low matches; Penn = low reach; Yale, Princeton, Harvard, MIT = reaches.

Thank you all for your feedback!

Unfortunately I don’t want to go into engineering since I want to pursue computer science/neuroscience which are both pretty competitive from what I hear. Nevertheless it’s comforting to know that I stand a chance for UVA and that I might have a chance for some Ivy schools.

Your posts were very helpful.

EDIT: I can’t believe I forgot this! Can you guys also chance me for Carnegie Mellon?

CMU: Reach (about as reachable as Cornell)
