<p>if you are from virginia, you have a pretty good shot at UVA. if not, i’m not so sure. virginia by law has to accept 90% in-state students, so the other 10% are usually ivy worthy. georgetown also has a very small student body so it will really depend on how good your essays were and how memorable you are in your interview.</p>

<p>haha, wow, looking back at this post i see how wrong i was: UVa has to have a student body of 2/3 virginians and thus 1/3 oos-ers.</p>
