Chance me for Uva?

Hey everyone
So I'm a white male from northern jersey and Uva is by far my number one and here are my stats

GPA: Freshman year around a 3.0, Sophomore year is about a 3.4 and Junior year is a 3.849 :D. (It averages out to be a little over a 3.5)
SAT/ACT: SAT i got a 2230 and my ACT was a 35 composite (33E 36M 36R 35S)
SAT II: 800 Math 2, 780 Physics, 800 US history, 740 Math 1
Class Rank: School does not rank but around the top quarter
I've taken a very rigorous course load and will continue to do so senior year

EC's: President of school's largest club, two year varsity captain, tutor kids from the local high school in SAT's and am part of a club that helps kids with their spanish homework
Job: I worked at a local country club doing landscaping work last summer and this coming summer I am lifeguarding at a local pool
Essays: They will be damn fine.
Teacher Recs: I know my math rec will be unbelievably good and not sure about the other one, but it will also be very good

Thanks in advance

I’m in an oddly similar situation so I would love to see the feedback on this too

You obviously slacked off your freshman/sophomore years. The question is how much are they going to factor that into your application as a whole. We all know that UVA is one of the best public schools out there, and that they are quite competitive. You have great test scores, which colleges always like, and decent extra-curricular activities. I got into U-Michigan (another top 5 public schools) with similar stats. Good luck!

thanks for the feedback  and yea my freshman and sophomore years were not too strong to say the least but hopefully they will see the upwards trend and I just hope its not too late.

Quick question. Similar STATS as OP as an instate, What are my chances?
