Your ECs are amazing! & SAT Scores and GPA is great as well. I feel like you got a good shot into getting into UVA however UVA is hard to get in for everyone but don’t worry too much your stats are perfect for UVA. With your weighted GPA, it seems like you took advance classes. How many did you take? & what can help you more is ethnicity and first generation. Other factors put into admission too: essay, teacher recs, and more. But I think that you shouldn’t worry at all.

Can you chance me back

No worries You should be fine. The acceptance rate for in state students is much higher than the overall acceptance rate.

2/3 of UVAs acceptances are required to come from in-state. I’ve known a few people to get in with fewer qualifications/ lower stats than you so I’d say you have a pretty good chance! Good luck!

Hello, I was wondering if a C will affect my chances of getting into UVA. I have Straight As except for that C. It is in a spanish class. I will be applying for engineering. I have a 4.2 GPA and a 2030 sat with a 800 math and a 730 math 2. I have had a 160 hour electrical engineering Internship. I am taking 5 ap classes this years and have A’s. in them. I took all the hardest classes I could last year. Since it is spanish and I am doing engineering, I am hoping that it will not affect me too badly.
Thanks for any responses.

VaCavalier, I think you are going to get in. I’m curious why you didn’t apply Early Action?

Tubbsofchicken, do you work at KFC or something? Funny user name. I’m not sure if you are a Virginian or OOS. If you are in state I think you have a great chance for admission. Excellent OOS candidates often get rejected but you do have a good chance. The perfect math score and the ee internship are impressive. It’s always good for any candidate to have a back up plan.

Yes, I am instate. So the spanish would not really affect me since I want to do EE?
