Chance me for UVA?

I am a middle eastern female and I live in Northern Virginia (Fairfax County specifically). I go to a fairly competitive public school.
I want to go to UVA to major in biological sciences

SAT I - 1300 (out of the new 1600 SAT) – I feel like this is pretty bad but I heard that UVA doesn’t place as much importance on SATs as some other schools do

ACT - Haven’t taken yet

SAT II - Math = 780, Biology=780

GPA (out of 4.0) - 3.9 unweighted, 4.2 weighted

AP- Not available for freshman at my school
Sophomore year: AP World History (5) (only one available for sophomores at my school)
Junior year: AP US History (5), AP Lang (5), AP Calculus AB (4), AP Environmental (5)
Will take senior year: AP Government, AP Calculus BC, AP Biology, AP Psychology

Extracurricular Activities: I don’t do any sports. Science Fair (10 - made it to regional, 11- made it to states, and expected 12). Latin Club (9, 10, 11, expected 12). National Honors Society, National Latin Honors Society, National English Honors Society, Rho Kappa (Social Studies Honors Society), National Science Honors Society, National Maths Honors Society. Model UN

Community Service: 40 hours

Expected to graduate as an Honors Student

You look like a decent applicant. I think you have a good chance for UVA. Maybe try to gain a leadership position, that seems to be the only area you are lacking. Everything else matches if not exceeds UVA’s average admit. The science fair awards will defiantly help your chances. Good luck!

Everything seems in line except leadership positions and your SAT score. Try getting it up to a 1400+ or an ACT score of 32+ and you’ll be in good shape. (I am also a student in Fairfax County and these are the standardized test scores that most kids accepted at UVA tend to have.)

Your extracurriculars are pretty good- multiple honors societies- but maybe describe specifically what you’ve done with them rather than just being an ordinary member on the Common App. Grades are good, and I think raising your SAT/ACT score is a good idea. AP scores are very good as well.

I’d just fix the standardized test scores, all things said.

Chance back? Bit of a long post but I’d appreciate any feedback- http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1904474-chance-me-for-the-following-rising-senior-with-huge-upward-trend-p1.html
