Do you think I'll get in? I know my grades could be better, but I'm hoping the stellar extracurriculars make up for it.

I visited the college last year and spoke to someone. I’m also an out of state student. there is a less than 1% of getting in. that 1% goes for international students too. good luck and keep trying! dont let this discourage you!

^ there’s definitely well over 1% getting in, especially considering the fact that Washington state does not cap the amount of OOS enrollments a school can have. I’d say you’re looking great. Your GPA is right around average for the school, but your SATs will put you way ahead of the rest. Great chance!

I think you’re good, man. My sister had higher GPA but lower SAT (granted, she sent her ACT, but regardless), and she got into the honors program. I’d say you’re a match, likely in. Hope you do get in, it’s impossible not to love Seattle and I’d have to imagine the UW is strong in your area of interest. My biology class went on a field trip to the fish collection there, it was sweeeet.
