So I'm a junior right now (Korean/African American female) and I really want to go to the University of Washington Seattle campus next year (I'm pretty set on it... I want to take pre med courses and if possible go to their medical school. I'm also instate). Right now I have a 4.0 UW (not sure what my weighted is since they don't do that here), class rank is 1/400 and here are my classes...

Freshman- Honors integrated science, geometry, honors world studies, honors freshman lang., drawing, freshman fitness

Sophomore- AP World history (only AP class available to soph. and I got a 3 on the exam which won't really help me get any credits at UW), honors biology, honors world lit, algebra II, spanish I, and being a peer tutor for math as an elective

Junior (now)- AP U.S. history, AP literature and composition, AP chemistry, pre calculus, spanish II, and leadership.

Senior year I plan on taking AP physics, AP Calculus AB/BC (separate semesters), AP english, AP government, spanish III, and maybe leadership again.

My EC's are: varsity cheerleading for 3 years, junior class vice president, volunteering at the boys and girls' club/Big Brother Big sister mentor, national honor society, leadership, citizen (it's this type of program where we lead freshman orientations), and a few awards such as distinguished scholar, honor roll, might be missing some stuff.

And.... I didn't do so well on my SAT at all :( .. 1530 (490 R, 550 M, 490 W 8E). It was my first time taking it, didn't really prep at all and I plan on just taking the ACT because I've been taking multiple practice tests (getting around a 27-28 composite) and I feel like it's more for me, I'm taking it next month and I want to get atleast a 30 so I will be doing a lot more prep for that.

So what are my chances so far? There are other schools such as UCLA and other schools in california such as USC and UCB but I feel like they are reaches so yeah haha. Thank you!
