Chance me for Vanderbilt and UT-Knoxville

I'm currently a junior in high school. I live in Tennessee and attend a rural public school. My school does NOT offer AP classes, and they don't offer honors for every subject. I'm taking 1 DE class this semester, and will take 1-2 next year.

GPA: 4.0 uw
Rank: 4/~300
ACT: 30 (going for 32)
ECs: FBLA (10-12), basketball (9, may play again next year), Interact (11-12), BETA (10-12), Academic Bowl team (11-12)
Volunteer: Help the maintenance department at a local nursing home (40 hrs & rising), will volunteer at a hospital this semester and/or summer, volunteer for my church throughout the year

First generation college student, income bracket <60k. Fairly certain I can get strong recommendations, not so certain about writing a strong essay.

Your GPA and Rank is very good, however, for Vanderbilt, you’ll need to get your score at least to a 32 to be competitive. Try to find some leadership roles in your ECs as well to strengthen them. I would stay Reach for Vanderbilt and match for UT

I appreciate the response. Anyone else?

Reach for Vandy

Vanderbilt: reach
UT: safety
