<p>ECs: JSA Chapter President, Model UN Chapter President, State Director of JSA, Academic Decathlon, Mock Trial, National Civic Impact Award Finalist, Attended Montezuma Leadership Summit (1 of 60 in the US), 200+ community service hours, intern at Radiologist's office, attended a 6 week program over the summer at Vanderbilt (Letter of Rec from the Vanderbilt Dean of Prep Academics)</p>

<p>You have good GPA and not so good ACT. Vanderbilt looks for high SAT or ACT scores. Unless you can bring up those ACT scores it ain’t happening. But there are many other schools that will love you. Look at all your options and go with ED to the school which values your GPA more. Most likely that is going to be your Flagship state school and propably cheaper too.</p>
<p>I still think you could try the SAT or improve your ACT. Good EC’s, and your letter from the Vanderbilt dean will certainly help. Right now, it seems like a mid-reach, but if you improve your ACT or take another SAT II, it’ll be a lower reach.</p>
