Bump

Are you going to do ROTC in college? Are you looking for money? Really, I think you have a strong chance of getting into every school on your list. My advice for Vandy is to apply for their scholarships (deadline approaching) it shows interest. Have you interviewed at Wake? (required!) Have you interviewed at Vandy? (you really should!)

I’m not looking at doing ROTC as I’m not that interested in joining the military. I’m also leaning towards not applying to Wake Forest anyways since I don’t think I would go there. I haven’t interviewed for anything yet? when you mean interview, are you talking about an interview for ROTC or just an interview in general for admission? I am however going to visit Vandy this weekend for a campus tour!

Oh and do you think my somewhat low Math ACT score (28) will affect my chances at all?

RE the lower math score… I don’t know for sure, but I don’t think so. I would try to get an interview in your area with a Vandy alumnus. I noticed that the people from our school who got in all took the extra step to meet with the local interviewer. Just saying…

I’ll just pitch Wake Forest while I’m here. My son is a freshman and could not be happier. With your stats you might get a scholarship. PM me if you want to know more about the school.
