Legacy at University of Miami (Mother)
Interested in Education Policy
Also possibly interested in Business

Your scores and activities are good. I suggest you get your GPA up and try to get 750+ on the subject tests of your choice. I think right now, you have a good shot at Wake, Umiami, and UNC. Emory and Vandy are also very reasonable but again, GPA need to be a bit higher. The triple legacy will help with Harvard but only if you get your GPA and subject test scores up. Good luck!

Thank you for your input!!

I would suggest that you apply EA to Umiami and UNC as well. Good luck!

Harvard Triple legacy … You’re fine

^ +1

/10char

You really think so? Even though my GPA isn’t amazing?

I think your list is very reach heavy - you have great test scores but your GPA is very low for top 20 colleges.

Harvard - High Reach
Vanderbilt - Reach
Cornell - Reach
UNC (out of state) - Reach [known to be difficult for OOS]

Columbia - Reach

Emory - High Match
Wake Forest - Match
Miami - Safe Match

Id say you have a decent shot at Harvard considering your awesome extracurriculars and triple legacy status! I agree with timetodecide12 for the rest.

Okay, thank you all for your input!

If anyone has suggestions for other schools that I should look at, those suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Bump please!!

srsly though, why in the world would a school hire a 16 year old (without a teaching diploma) to teach special-needs kids

It was a volunteer summer job.

YOU CAN CONTINUE DA HARVARD TRADITION!!!
Just be fabulous in your interviews and applications and you should be fine.
Good luck!!

I think you should also look at:

Stanford
UPenn (Wharton could get you an instant job on Wall Street)

Wow, thank you so much, Anjili! And yes, I love both Stanford and Wharton, but do you think I have any shot whatsoever at those schools?

Bump please!!

Bump bump bump.

Does anyone else have any feedback?
