Chance me for Vanderbilt?

I have decided that I really want to go to Vanderbilt! Do you think I could get in?
Other choices: UVa, Washington and Lee, UNC-chapel hill, or SMU

I am a junior, and this is my schedule:
AP US A-
AP English B
Honors spanish IV A
Honors physics B+
AP gov A
precal A-
World religions (semester) A-

gpa: 3.67 UW cumulative- first semester junior year=4.12 weighted
SAT: 1990 total (I took this October of my junior year without a lot of prep/studying, so I have plenty of time to improve)-
CR: 640
Math:630
Writing: 720

Extracurriculars:
-Girl scout bronze, silver, and gold award
-made the school honors list for my grades freshman year and sophomore year
-deans list junior year
-clubs: connect(a service club, I was secretary/treasurer), humane society, opportunity international, habitat for humanity, Student Leadership Club (was a freshman advisor)
-captain of a jv sport sophomore year
-featured three times in my neighborhood magazine for girl scouts
-two varsity sports

I am working to bring my english and physics grades up and plan on getting an internship/job soon!

oh and I am willing to apply ED if it would help my chances!

ED would definitely help your chances…Vanderbilt is extremely difficult for everyone, so I would try not to obsess over it too much because of its competitive nature. But I say if you get your SAT score up even more and maybe your GPA a little you should have a pretty good shot. The rest of the schools you listed also sound more plausible.

thank you! anyone else? percent chance maybe?

bummpppp (sorry i know thats annoying but I was just wondering if anyone had any other opinions!)

bumpppppppppppp

I’ll chance back!

Definitely need to raise your test scores. That might even be more important than GPA.
