<p>Im going to apply ED for Vandy into engineering and I want to know if I even have a shot.</p>

<p>GPA UW/W- 3.52/4.48
SAT- 2050
EC's- Volunteer a lot at YMCA, Habitat for humanity, and Hospital
FIRST robotics club
Islandkeepers club and debate club
Beta Club
Course load- 7 AP's by the time I graduate, and at least 16 honors course
Class Rank- Top 20%-Top 15%</p>

<p>I will have written killer essays and predict good teacher and guidance counselorr rec's
Im also a minority, im from the middle east</p>

<p>Your Sat score, GPA, and class rank are weak. I put you at a reach, but ED may help significantly.

<p>That would help significantly, but are you doing EDI or EDII? With a 2150, you would be a low reach.
Can you chance me back for the schools other than Vandy? i.e. Brown, Uchicago, Stanford, Northwestern, and Upenn

<p>I don’t think there is a difference between EDI and EDII.
Still if you could raise your points to about 2150 you may have much better chances because i think that universities, which don’t require additional essays pay more attention to the scores and if you check the mid 50%, you’ll see that they are higher than those of many other top colleges and even ivies.
This is the reason i won’t be applying to Vanderbilt. My SAT 1 is about the same as yours and I am good at writing.

<p>IF your essays are fine. Then it’s ok. I think it is pretty reach for you. if you can improve your score to 2150 then you chances will definitely increase. If you wish please chance me back!
