EC’s: Debate clubs for 3 years, volunteer club for 3 years, leader of new Econ club, NHS, fresh volleyball, recreational bball, over 300 volunteer hours (hospital, pediatricians, bball coach among other things), took courses in Arabic and Islam throughout my hs life, summer job, Math and Spanish honors society
Can u chance me for schools such as NYU Stern, UMich Ross, Wharton (ED). Any other schools I should consider?
I’d say your SAT and ACT are very strong and your GPA is above average. You have strong EC’s too so with good essays and recs, you have a chance at all 3. I would say that this summer you could try to involve yourself into more business themed activities to show greater interest in your prospective major.
If you are choosing between SAT and ACT to submit a test score, submit your SAT score which I think will be equivalent to about 35 on the ACT. Your GPA is pretty good and so are your test scores. ECs are a bit weak, and besides the econ club, are pretty generic and varied. You may want to focus on getting involved in ECs that are more related to business and econ. I think you can get into UMich, Stern will be a low reach, and Wharton is a high reach only because of its selectivity and the weakness of your ECs. I do recommend you apply ED if that is your first choice though. Good luck!
