I’m transferring in Fall 2016 from the M/TS Honors Program at Rockland Community College. I’ll have my AA Liberal Arts and Sciences: Humanities and Social Science - Honors Track.
GPA is currently a 3.94 (I plan to get it to a 3.96 by the time I graduate)
Bulk of my courses are honors-level
Phi Theta Kappa member
NSCS Nominee
Vice president of the Inklings (Medievalist club)
Eucharistic minister for sick/homebound
Interned at non-profit arts center
My HS transcript is certainly not on my current academic level because I screwed up sophomore year (cumulative 3.4)
SAT composite was a 1760 but I only took it once, in 2013
5 in AP 2D Design
Took a college-level Spanish course through SUNY Albany
Member of HS step team for all four years and the captain of it during senior year
Does this stuff even matter? It just seems so weird that the grades I got when I was 15 could screw me out of transferring at age 20. Please let me know your thoughts!
