Chance me for Villanova Business and I’ll chance back
bump
They were deferring a lot of 33’s in EA. My daughter was deferred with 2,130 SAT, 4.6, and AP Scholar with Honors. They seems to really be emphasizing the standardized tests, which could hurt you.
In your application, I would really emphasize your service hours because they really do set you apart from others. Villanova is extremely service oriented and they like to see students that give back in addition to having good scores and leadership experience. You many be deferred based off of your scores (I was too, and honestly it’s not a big deal don’t get discouraged), but I feel you may have a strong chance to be accepted in the regular decision pool.
If you have any questions for me, let me know.
Freshman CoE student at Villanova
My ACT was 34, with GPA of 4.1 weighted and 3.8 unweighted. I got deferred EA. Idk exact problem but assuming essay and lack of EC. Hope this helps you. They seemed to defer many students with pretty strong app tho
Thanks for the replies! @doggo14 I am applying RD without applying for EA but would you tell me what scores you got?
I am just hoping my GPA will make up for my test scores and my GPA should be around 4.1/4.2 unweighted (no APs because I’m Canadian but all honour courses)
@hawksauce Did you apply EA? I’m only applying RD but did you get into VSIB in the RD pool?
