Hi,

I’m going to be a freshman at VSB this year. Your scores are above average, your GPA seems to be above average (not familiar with GPAs out of 100), and you seem to be very well rounded with clubs and volunteering. Your senior class schedule will definitely help. Have you taken just about the highest level for every course? Definitely see if you can push for one or two more leadership positions in the clubs you currently are in. Also, I had the same exact problem with my counselor since I graduated with almost 800 kids. I would just suggest stopping in periodically for either menial things or schedule an appointment to talk about college, essays, etc. to help build a better bond. Your community service / volunteering and clubs will definitely help a lot. I say you normally would have very good chances of being admitted. However, the number of applications Villanova will receive - and specifically for admittance to VSB - will significantly increase because of the NCAA National Championship, and VSB being ranked #1 by Bloomberg. I say you are a match for the school, but maybe try breaking through through the 1500 threshold to be even more sure. You can message me if you need any other help or whatever it may be, best of luck!
