please do not sugar coat it, of course constructive criticism is valued, but if you feel inclined to tell me i will not get in, that will only be motivation so it is appreciated.

Considering your scores, and that you are a minority from MA, you will most likely get in. Your GPA is a little weak, but I believe that the adcoms will recognize Westford as a quality institution.

Question is: why do you want to come to Wake Forest? What will be your major?

I agree with the above post. You seem like a very strong applicant in most regards, however, your GPA is a bit weak, although I understand that AP classes are KILLER and GPA’s can take a hit (I myself was accepted to Wake this year with 9 AP’s). Your SAT’s are very strong (much higher than mine), however, given that Wake does not require standardized test scores, it would appear that class rank/GPA are more important (I was about top 6% of my class, and I think anything outside the top 10% can be a bit iffy.)

I also second the inquiry about your major and why you want to be at Wake. If you’re passionate about it, definitely interview (A MUST) and let that passion show through. When I interviewed, I talked about my interest in the academic programs, courses offered, athletics, small-size of Wake, etc. They NEED to see that you have a strong reason for wanting to be there.

Hope that helped! Best of luck!
