Even though my GPA might not be a decent one as other applicants', do I still have a good change getting into WASHU ED?
I applied to its Olin business school for marketing major.

Pleaseeee give me honest comments!

HONEST COMMENTS HERE THEY COME

Ok, looks like you’re an international student? maybe international applicant?
I say colleges will look at your circumstances coming into the US and disregard the bad GPA, because obviously, you can bring it up. They will also see improvement, which they like a lot. You have a very nice SAT score and subject tests. The only thing lacking is the math section on both, especially for a business school (but again, not bad enough to hurt you much).

Your leaderships are good, but ECs are lacking a bit. And because WashU doesn’t have a supplement (I’m also applying as international, so you can look at my stats if you want http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1587456-im-bit-confuzzle-my-chance-into-college-stats.html</a>) you need to scream passion in your CA.

Overall, I think you have a competitive chance with WashU and the interview (if it went well) will help a lot!

Good luck!

The math score is lacking? She has a 770 and a 790…

OP I think you look good for WashU ED… no one knows but I’m crossing my fingers for you!!!

SORRY IM ON MOBILE AND IT’S REALLY WEIRD. I thought your SATI math score was a 740. Now i realize it’s your writing.
Ok math scores are not lacking, sorry hahaha
I think you have a good chance, especially from a private school. Just keep in mind that most colleges will put you into the pool with other international applicants from Asia and that’s a tough pool to swim across.

Best of luck though! Sorry again for my mistake.
770 on math is like 1 wrong so yeah, it’s good

Haha it is 1 wrong, I would know because I have a 770 ;)

Thank you!! People told me they usually come out earlier than the date they post on website. Right now, it says all the admission decisions will be sent by Dec 15th, which is this Sun. But, a lot of applicants from last year told me that they email you on Friday before the weekend. So nervous but keeping my fingers crossed!!!

Also, wouldn’t applying ED give me a better chance? I was just wondering.

Well statistically speaking, yes. However the percent you see online relates mostly to athletes and legacy students. By taking them out the admission acceptance rate is

Only a tad higher…sorry this mobile thing is killing me

I think you have an excellent chance at WUSTL ED. Your GPAs are showing progress. And your test results are satisfying. You definitely have a shot.
