WUSTL is my first choice school. I have shown interest through a campus visit and tour, email correspondance with the track and field coach and I will be visiting this fall for an interview. I plan on majoring in Biology with a minor in Spanish and will be going Pre-Med.
I am still trying to decide if I will apply ED or RD. Other schools I am interested in are UChicago and Northwestern.

I would appreciate replies from people who have been admitted to WashU! Thanks!

My son was admitted to WUSTL and will be attending this fall- Classics major but doing premed. In addition to great stats (although I didn’t see your GPA), demonstrated interest is big at WUSTL. If you apply ED then you are truly demonstrating interest in the school.

Good luck- WUSTL is a phenomenal school with students who really want to be there rather than for the name. As a parent I am impressed with how parents are really kept in the loop.

I do not know my current GPA but I am guessing around 4.5 for cumulative because I have recieved all A’s (and only 2 A-'s in my freshman year)

Thank you so much!

Your numbers look fine. I’m not sure if your ECs display enough focus, but they aren’t “bad” per se. With nice essays and recs, you’ll have a decent shot.

Unless WUSTL is your clear favorite, and money is not an issue, I would not recommend applying ED.

Very strong. If it is your top choice, I suggest applying ED.
RD is like winning the lottery. You resume deserves an acceptance but you never know.

Well washU certainly takes a greater% of students ED like most other schools, but if it is your clear first choice, you shouldn’t hesitate in applying ED.
